Cactii is an exercise in taking an object with an inherently unpleasant tactility and reinterpreting that into a comfortable ceramic object. Cacti started out as an accurate 3d representation of an Echinopsis cactus modeled in Rhino3d. Which in turn was sent to a 3d printer and from that I made a mold. From the mold I made The resulting glacier white clay pieces retain its original shape but with a much warmer and comfortable texture.
The Continium project
Continuum is the first of my two grad projects at Emily Carr University. This project is my exploration into our concept of time, how we keep track of it and how that affects us. My outcomes were three distinct watches. Billinger is intended for anyone who has to keep track of their hours at work. Noon is a source of comfort for people who constantly feel they have too little time and finally Timeshare is a device that keeps track of time spent together with another person and celebrates it in a fun way.
The Conch lamp
The Conch is my take on a cheap and ecological mood-light. By taking readily available bamboo strips I used pvc-free glues and steam bending to create a form that mimics nature to convey an environmental double entantra. The light source itself is made up of 6 high luminance LED´s running power from an 12v adapter.
The Walli chair
The focus of this project is to create a piece of furniture with dual functionality for a small urban space. Our team has spent the past number of weeks inquiring into the problems presented when living in a small space as well as the precedent means to resolve them. While we understand that many users choose to live in a small space for economical reasons, we have also considered that the modern urbanite has an extremely fast-paced routine and may live in a small.

The Canvas bag is a laptop bag intended for children aged 10-18. The shape itself is strictly form follows function as it is an oversized rectangle that fits most sized books
